Hello, I live in south fla and my pool deck is travertine which has been previously sealed with a solvent based sealer. I also have an east - west exposure which is extremely UV high and hot.
I see from other posts you recommend the SB, and I am looking for that wet look along with UV protection. Assuming you will again prefer the SB should I remove the solvent based sealer that exists or apply the SB over it? Post some pictures of the current condition. We used superseal-M on our travertine tiles on pool deck 2 years ago. We are hoping for something with more of a gloss this time, that will show off the color of the travertine. Will Super Seal 25 be slippery on a salt water pool deck?
Or are we better off with super shield sb? We live in Florida, and also prefer low VOC. Less chance of being slippery with the SB What is best for Tuscany Tumbled Travertine Pavers?
