Disenchants into: [ Small Brilliant Shard ] : 1. RDF feed. He eventually journeyed to Blackrock Depths, where he took a sudden interest in the famed Dark Iron architect Franclorn Forgewright.
The purpose of his current obsession is unclear, but Loregrain remains loyal to his cult and an enemy of all who oppose it. As Blackrock Depths is a very complicated instance, some players have difficulty in finding their way around. So here is a guide on how to find Loregrain. Loregrain comes with two Twilight Emissary adds , but is a very easy mini-boss.
He drops Searing Totems and casts [ Flame Shock ] occasionally. He spams Molten Blast which can deal lots of damage in a short time , but generally is a pushover.
He can be sheeped or Mind Controlled while the adds are dealt with. Comment by Allakhazam Just ran Loregrain repeatedly for the stave and robe for FR -- We went five times instance limit and he was there each time. Can anyone confirm if this is no longer a rare spawn? Comment by Allakhazam I've been through BRD at least 10 times in the last month and haven't seen this guy up once. Its so disappointing Comment by Allakhazam Once every 24 hours is usually rare mob spawn time.
Comment by Allakhazam At the statue where you turn in the ironfel hammer for the shadowforge key quest. Comment by Allakhazam does anyone know for sure where this guy spawns? Comment by Allakhazam I've been repeatedly going after him over the past few days.
He spawns about 1 in 5 attempts I've seen him 4 times in 19 visits. He's soloable as a 60 rogue, but his two spellcasting bodyguards will probably kill you with frost and shadow damage before you can get away.
I try to vanish each time, but they appear to see through it because they both still cast a spell and hit me each time. I'm able to buy myself enough time to do a quick loot by summoning a battle chicken or mechanical dragonling. It also helps to down a fire protection potion at least two minutes beforehand so your 2m timer on the major healing potion you'll need will have run down. Comment by Allakhazam Im level 49 Hunter, just about 50, I'm going to need a group right? Comment by Allakhazam He's been altered.
The guy's always there now. Balance druid tanking and a resto druid healing, both The guy drops pretty fast. Get him first and loot. Then blast his two buddies, one at a time, making sure they don't run and get adds. Comment by Allakhazam This guy is a shaman FR god Comment by Allakhazam wtf, when i faced him with my group at lvl 50 he droped trash : only fought him 2 times with my groups, curse this world! Comment by Allakhazam what type of damage does this dude deal out and how much life does he seem to have?
Go through the BRD arena stands and turn right. Comment by Allakhazam He usually has 2 mobs around him, rogue can easily solo at Picture below, until they update it. Comment by Allakhazam Very druid soloable, you wouldn't even have to die if the two adds didn't run. Comment by Allakhazam My first time going through BRD lvl 53 priest and he dropped the fiery recipe and the blue wand!

I believe, on completion of the quest s , you get access to Blackwings Lair, through an orb across from the portal into Blackrock Spire. That, or if you die during any of the dungeons or raids, you can walk over to a rug on the ground where the orb would be, from there you would be teleported in.
Note: I believe that you must have done the quest starters to become "attuned" to the raid, allowing entrance inside. Before you pass through the tunnel system, a Blood Elf has a quest called "Attunement to the Core".
Accept it, and enter Blackrock Spire. From there you can attempt to pass them, or kill them. Take a right turn at the first opening to the right of the mobs, and Ambassador Flamelash , a boss, will be there. Again, you may attempt to pass him, or kill him. From there, travel through a chamber to the left of the boss, and you'll find a room full of golems and non-elite dwarves. He drops bind-on-pick up gear, which benefits only few. From there, at the other side of the room, is a way into the next room.
Slay each of the dwarves as they attack, and be swift. If one isn't killed fast enough, another will engage as well, on a set timer. Once they are cleared, a cache next to the now-opening doorway appears that contains 2 of 4 rare pieces of gear. Pass through the door, and down stairs through a hallway somewhere to the right should be a new doorway.
Go through it and kill or pass a few elemental mobs, and you'll run across what I believe is titled "Fragment of the Core". Remember to pick it up to the left of the new portal, it's a chunk of black crystal. It is required for the quest "Attunement to the Core".
Hopefully you will have somebody in your group, so you can convert your party to a Raid Group. From there you can bring up to 39 of your friends, or just 1 or 2, inside to do Molten Core. Upon exit, make your way out of the cave and back to the area overlooking the lava, and the Blood Elf will accept the 'Fragment of the Core' for the quest. And apologies if some of my information is misleading. Please reply with messages on grammar errors, it can be really embarrasing.
Thank you! Comment by MABGamer This Boss was once a rare spawn but sense has become added into the Journal confirming him as Official in the normal loot table. He however is a easy fight and is often missed in a normal run unless mentioned, he may not really be worth the kill unless a player needs the quest from the Twilight portals nearby. To add to this Comment. He is one of few Tauren based boss mobs. An perhaps is the only one sense Smites removal from Deadmines and relocated to Pandaria?
As a rare spawn. Not confirmed but hinted but likely. Which if it is true would be irony sense they swapped their rarity places. Comment by SpakyTwo Why doesn't the 'drops' list the fiery weapon formula anymore? View in 3D Links.
